📞 (541) 962-0896I grew up on a farm in Oregon’s farming and ranching country, where I learned the value of hard work early on. To pay my way through college, I worked in construction and as a farm hand. After earning my degree, I spent seven years teaching high school, where I taught U.S. History, Geography, and Law and Justice. Pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer, I attended the University of Oregon Law School. After graduating, I moved to La Grande, Oregon, and established my law practice in 1996. Over the years, I have represented clients in civil litigation, property law, business law, and criminal defense. I’ve had the privilege of advocating for individuals from all walks of life, including judges, police officers, small business owners, teachers, school administrators, and nurses. My work has taken me to both state and federal courts, and I’ve successfully argued cases before the Oregon Court of Appeals and the Oregon Supreme Court. In 2018, I was honored to be elected as a Circuit Court Judge for Union and Wallowa Counties. After completing my term, I returned to what I love most—helping people navigate their legal challenges both in and out of court. I am now associated with Timmons Law, PC, based in The Dalles, Oregon, and I manage the La Grande office. As a settlement judge, I’ve helped resolve cases involving property disputes, will contests, and domestic relations. My current practice focuses on mediation, arbitration, civil litigation, property law, business law, and criminal defense. I am licensed to practice law in Oregon and am admitted to both state and federal courts.
