π (304) 684-9258I founded Sayre Law Services, PLLC, to represent clients across West Virginia in serious criminal defense and abuse and neglect cases. Since joining the West Virginia Bar in 2011, I have dedicated my practice to defending individuals facing felony and misdemeanor charges, including homicide, sex offenses, violent crimes, white collar crimes, drug trafficking, DUI, theft, and allegations of child abuse and neglect. I approach every case with extensive courtroom and trial experience, preparing each matter as though it will proceed to trial. I have represented clients at all stages, from the investigation phase to appeals, and I have argued cases before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia. My record includes not-guilty verdicts and favorable pre-trial outcomes in challenging sex offense, violent felonies, drug trafficking, and child abuse and neglect cases. I have also secured dismissals of felony charges through independent investigations and successful suppression of unlawfully obtained evidence. Through thorough preparation and decisive advocacy, I work tirelessly to protect my clientsβ rights, freedom, and future. I have trained through respected programs, including the National Criminal Defense College, the Trial Lawyers College, and the NACDL Forensic Science College, focusing on trial strategy and addressing forensic evidence. Additionally, I am an accredited attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and assist veterans nationwide with benefits and administrative proceedings. I earned my B.S.B.A. from West Virginia University at Parkersburg and my J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law, where I was part of the Marlyn E. Lugar Trial Association. My approach emphasizes clear advice, relentless preparation, and a strong, strategic defense for every client.
