About Thomas Wilkinson

Thomas Wilkinson is an experienced commercial and appellate litigator and bar leader. He also has extensive experience in lawyer professional responsibility, legal malpractice, and risk management matters. He has been accepted as an expert witness in federal and state courts on lawyer standard of care, legal fee awards, and sanctions issues. He has presented and published numerous articles and continuing legal education programs in the civil litigation and legal ethics areas. He has served on the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association and is a member of the ABA Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility. He is a past President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) and Pennsylvania Bar Institute. He is a past chair of the PBA Civil Litigation Section and Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility Committee, and the co-editor of the Pennsylvania Ethics Handbook. He also has served on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association and on its Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention. He is a past co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association State Civil Litigation Section, Federal Practice, and Appellate Courts Committees.
