๐ (617) 742-6020I am dedicated to assisting clients with matters involving employment, higher education, and criminal defense. Before joining Zalkind, I had the privilege of clerking for Associate Justice Kathryn Hand at the Massachusetts Appeals Court. During my time at Boston College Law School, I interned with the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor, where I contributed to litigation addressing wage theft and employee safety violations. As a certified student attorney with the Boston College Civil Rights Clinic, I worked on a case involving illegal searches and seizures at a U.S. port of entry. Additionally, I collaborated with a non-profit organization that provides free civil legal aid to veterans in Massachusetts. Before pursuing a legal career, I worked in journalism and marketing. However, I sought a path where I could use the writing and persuasion skills I had developed to make a meaningful difference for people facing some of the most challenging moments in their lives. Practicing law allows me to think creatively about the obstacles my clients encounter and work with them to pursue favorable outcomes. I am deeply grateful for a career that enables me to advocate for justice and fundamental rights, and I can genuinely say that I love what I do.
