He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University with a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science, and served as president of Emory's student body. He earned his law degree from American University's Washington College of Law in 1986. With over twenty years of experience litigating cases, Steve has been called on to lecture locally and nationally before professional associations including the American Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Association. He has successfully argued several cases before the Supreme Court of Georgia. Steve is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and has a passion for representing consumers who have been treated unfairly or abused. Steve has held numerous leadership positions in the legal and business community. He is a former chairman of the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association, a co-founder and former president of the Stonewall Bar Association, and a former president of the Atlanta Executive Network.
