π (802) 775-6811I am the founder and owner of the Law Office of Sidney Collier, PLC, and have over 15 years of experience working exclusively in the area of U.S. immigration and nationality law. I work on both employment-based and family immigration matters. I have successfully assisted clients with H, L, and O temporary visas, and permanent residence matters including Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher, Multinational Executive/Manager, and PERM labor certification cases. I have also worked with employers on I-9 and H-1B compliance issues. I have proudly worked with all types of businesses, from small start-ups to large, multinational corporations, and worked with clients in the hospitality, international business, scientific research, engineering, technology, accounting and marketing sectors, and college and university settings, among others. I also assist clients with all facets of family-based matters including marriage-based petitions, and naturalization cases. I enjoy the challenge of staying informed about the rapidly evolving immigration laws and procedures, so I can best advise my clients, and eliminate guesswork from immigration filings. Prior to moving to Vermont, I worked in high-volume law firms in both Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I attended the American Universityβs Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. (cum laude) and The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where I majored in International Affairs, with a concentration in Latin America and a minor in Spanish. I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the International Medical Graduate Taskforce, the Vermont Bar Association, and the Washington County Bar Association. I currently hold the positions of Secretary of the Washington County Bar Association, and Chair of the Immigration Law Section of the Vermont Bar Association. I am admitted and authorized to practice law in Vermont and before federal agencies only.
