I earned my Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law. Before attending law school, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. I am licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Texas. Before my current role as a Senior Associate Attorney at the Wichita office of Stange Law Firm, I spent six months as a Law Clerk within the same firm. Earlier, I was an Associate Judge for the Collin County Probate Court starting in 2011, where I oversaw involuntary mental health commitment filings and hearings. In addition to my judicial duties, I have been practicing law since 1993, representing clients in criminal, juvenile, and probate matters. My extensive courtroom experience encompasses jury and bench trials, competency hearings, mental health proceedings, and contested motions. I am a strong advocate for rehabilitative options when suitable, such as Drug Court, Veterans Court, and mental health services. I also have experience in condemnation cases, Child Protective Services issues, and have served as an Ad Litem in adoption, custody, guardianship, and personal injury cases, always with a focus on safeguarding the rights and well-being of my clients.
