About Shawn Daniels

Since 1991, I have been practicing law, starting my career at an insurance defense firm in Ardmore, Oklahoma. While insurance law was not my calling, the experience was invaluable. Defending injury and wrongful death lawsuits provided me with the training and preparation I needed to represent injured individuals and families who have lost loved ones due to someone else's fault for the past 25 years. I am the first lawyer in my family, having grown up in a rural area where we raised horses and cattle. My father was a large animal veterinarian, and I often was free labor to help when he was working, including vaccinating, pregnancy-checking and all the other work veterinarians do with cattle and horses. This upbringing instilled in me the values of hard work and responsibility from a young age. Whether it was feeding the animals, maintaining the fences, or getting up early to tend to the horses before school, every day was a lesson in diligence, rain or shine. My years spent hauling hay, doing construction work, and building fences not only fostered a deep appreciation and respect for working people but also an understanding of the profound impact injuries or fatalities can have on individuals and their families. Having worked in environments where physical strength is crucial, I deeply empathize with the effects of injuries or the loss of a working family member. My background and education deeply influence how I represent clients who have been injured or have lost a family member due to wrongful death. I take great pride in my roots and in diligently working on behalf of my clients. I always assure my clients of one thing when they choose to work with me: "I won't be outworked."
