About Sarah Bordner

I am the founder and managing attorney for Bordner Law. I have nearly 20 years of law enforcement experience and extensive knowledge of the inner workings of police departments. I am a dedicated, results-oriented attorney with a reputation for responsive client service and positive outcomes in court. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I was a police officer with the Ocean City Police Department, followed by the Baltimore County Police Department. My time as a police officer gives me an unprecedented level of insider knowledge surrounding criminal matters, traffic and impaired driving offenses. As an officer, I trained for additional certifications including Accident Reconstructionist, Drug Recognition Expert & Instructor, Standardized Field Sobriety Testing/DUI Instructor, Evidentiary Breath Test Instrument Operator and Radar/LIDAR Operator. I also served as an undercover narcotics detective. I attended the University of Baltimore School of Law. While there, I was a member of the Bob Parsons Veterans Advocacy Clinic where I served as a student attorney, representing military veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs, assisting those veterans in obtaining the disability benefits they earned through their service to this country. I also represented veterans seeking to upgrade their character of discharge from the military. I have also worked with the Veterans Court in Baltimore City, and I am a Veterans Administration Accredited Attorney.
