About Sara Doty
I am passionate about helping families plan for the future and protect what matters most to them. My work includes creating estate plans and addressing more complex planning needs, such as planning for loved ones with special needs, estate tax planning, income tax planning, asset protection, adoptions, and step-parent adoptions. I take pride in explaining complicated legal concepts in a clear and concise way, and I work closely with my clients to ensure their plans are effective both now and in the future. I am a member of the Alabama State Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and the American Bar Association. I also volunteer with the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program and serve on the bylaw committee at my church. Before opening my own law firm, I worked full-time as a paralegal and law clerk during the day while attending law school at night. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, being outdoors, traveling, and volunteering at my church.
