About Russell Freeman

Russell is a lifelong resident of Goodlettsville, Tennessee where he currently serves as the City Attorney. He has over thirty years of experience as a trial attorney litigating and trying numerous jury and bench trials involving a wide range of civil issues in Davidson, Sumner and Robertson County. Russell treats every client as though they are his biggest and maintains a reputation for helping individuals in times of hardship and holding others accountable for their wrongdoing. He has many years of experience representing clients in personal injury accidents, car wrecks, estate planning and probate, and estate litigation. Beyond that, he focuses a large part of his practice representing individuals in divorces, child custody matters, child support issues and various other family law matters. Russell is a Registered Title Agent and has handled countless real estate transactions, real estate closings, large and small, both residential and commercial, and asset purchase agreements. Russell remains involved in various civic and professional organizations. He is actively involved in his community and has served on the Board of Directors for the Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce for nearly thirty years and has served as past President. He is a graduate of Leadership Goodlettsville’s first inaugural class. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outside of the office with his wife, children and grandchildren. You will often find him outdoors and taking care of the cattle farm he grew up on in Goodlettsville.
