๐ (715) 367-6680I run a solo practice, Lutgen Law Office LLC, in northern Wisconsin, where I focus on estate planning, nonprofits, and contracts. My background in general law and finance has shaped my approach to serving clients. Previously, I spent five years as general counsel, managing contracts, addressing insurance matters, handling discrimination complaints, conducting legal research, interpreting statutes, and facilitating communication with governing boards. In addition to my legal work, I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Wisconsin. My financial experience includes six years of auditing municipal and governmental entities. I also held leadership roles in finance, serving for 13 years as Vice President of finance and administration in tax-levying governmental entities and for two years as Vice President in banking. I am deeply committed to giving back to my community through volunteer work with local organizations. I have also served in elected and appointed positions, including as an Iron County Board Supervisor, a member of the Mercer Planning Commission, and a member of the Mercer Library Board. Recently, I took on a 6-month appointment as the volunteer Interim Iron County Administrative Coordinator. Additionally, I volunteer as a financial report and budget award reviewer for the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), which allows me to stay connected with the GFOA's budget and financial reporting standards.
