I understand what my clients are going through. After many years with a successful career as an engineering consultant, I found myself having to hire an attorney. Not only was being arrested a nightmare, but putting my future (and my family's future) in the hands of a stranger was very frightening. It got worse. The attorney I hired only wanted to get paid. I understand the fears, anger, and stress (about the case and financial stress). Attorneys are supposed to help their clients, not make it worse. That's why I left my career as an engineering consultant and went to law school. I knew there is a huge need for attorneys that will take the time to walk their clients through the process, answer questions (even if the client doesn't know what questions to ask), and to fight for their clients just like it is their own case. I treat my clients just like I wanted to be treated. I fight for my clients just like I wanted my attorney to fight for me. Every phone call, every meeting, and every time I walk in the courtroom for battle - I remember how I felt and how I wanted my attorney to fight for me. I am thankful for what I went through and the blessing to fight for others like attorneys should fight for their clients.
