He went on to receive his Masters in Business Administration with a Specialization in Finance and an Award of Academic Merit and his Juris Doctorate Cum Laude from the University of Miami in 1998. He served over a decade in elected office first as a Miami Beach Commissioner, and then as Florida State Representative. He has also served on the Boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami, the Miami-Dade Bar, the Miami Beach Bar Association, and the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. Richard L. Steinberg is admitted to the Florida Bar and licensed to practice before all Florida state trial and appellate courts.
