I am a Workers Compensation lawyer at Levinson Axelrod where I have handled Compensation cases for 37 years. I started at Levinson Axelrod in 1985 and have worked there since I graduated from Villanova Law school in 1985. I have handled thousands of cases over my career including Construction site, Toxic exposure to chemicals, cancer claims, CoVid claims and orthopedic occupational claims. I am a leader in an organization I help found in the early 1990's named COSH that acts as a Watchdog for Workers Compensation legislation. I have been instrumental in helping the passage of legislation that has helped workers including our COVID ESSENTIAL WORKER law. I am a carpenter by trade and still carry my union Book from Carpenters Local #253 in Hackensack. I have handled cases in every venue in NJ from Morris County to Cumberland County. I was one of the original compensation lawyers that became Certified by the NJ Supreme Court in the early 1990's I have been named to NJ Super Lawyers in 2006 and from 2008 to the present. I have been named by NJ's Best Lawyers I have been named by numerous groups as one of the most influential Workers Compensation Lawyers in NJ. I have tried hundreds of cases and have taken numerous cases to the Appellate Court. Many of the cases I handle are referred by colleagues that do not have the experience, medical community connections, financial resources and support staff I have at Levinson Axelrod. I run our Compensation Department in our 10 offices located in Edison, Middletown, Howell, Forked River, Jamesburg, Rockaway, Raritan, Flemington, Brick and Mt. Laurel.
