About Richard Mann
I have had the privilege of being included in Super Lawyers SuperLawyers Edition from 2009 through 2025. I am recognized as a Certified Family Law Specialist through the Family Law Certification Board. This certification extends beyond divorce to include custody, support, orders of protection—commonly referred to as protective orders or peace bonds—visitation matters, adoptions, guardianships, juvenile issues such as paternity, criminal cases, and matters involving Children in Need of Services. My firm and I have had the honor of representing same-sex couples in successfully overturning Indiana's ban on same-sex marriage. We also played a role in changing Indiana law to allow same-sex married women to both be listed as parents on birth certificates without requiring adoption. I remain committed to challenging discrimination in the legal system and advocating for equality. Outside of family law, I also focus on business law, providing representation for small businesses operating throughout the Midwest.
