Richard leads Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP's maritime and transportation law group. Prior to coming to the firm, Richard served in the U.S. Coast Guard for over 20 years where he handled multiple marine casualty investigations, including, licensing actions involving merchant mariners and retired from active duty with the rank of Lieutenant Commander (LCDR). He was in-house counsel for Global Liberty Insurance Co. of New York where he handled motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, property damage and premises liability cases. And, as an associate at Rubin Fiorella & Friedman, Richard handled multiple admiralty and maritime disputes, including but not limited to vessel casualties, liability defense, mariner licensing, property/vessel damage and personal injury.
