📞 (919) 809-8860I am an award-winning Board Certified Family Law attorney with over 20 years of experience. I have been honored to be selected for Super Lawyers and inducted into the Business North Carolina magazine’s “Legal Elite” Hall of Fame. Additionally, I hold a 10 out of 10 rating on Avvo.com. I often teach continuing legal education seminars for other attorneys in my field, covering topics such as trial techniques, business valuation and division of assets, tax considerations, advanced custody issues, and spousal support. I graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University, where I was a Poteat Scholar, a member of the track team, and part of the National Politics Honor Society. I went on to earn an MBA from Regent University as a Dean’s Merit Scholar. I then attended Tulane Law School, where I was actively involved as a member of the Environmental Law journal and the Moot Court Board, served as President of the Phi Delta Phi honor fraternity, and represented the school on both the interschool Trial and Appellate teams. After law school, I pursued further studies in Taxation at the Georgetown LLM program, worked in Investment Banking assisting small business owners, earned my Series 79 certification, and practiced family law with several large firms in Chicago before returning to North Carolina to focus on family law in the Triangle area. Having personally experienced the challenges of divorce and single parenthood, I understand the emotional toll it can take. I am deeply committed to advocating for those in crisis and dedicate my skills to supporting my clients. A native of the Triangle area, I grew up in Sanford, North Carolina. I am a proud member of the Cary-Kildaire Rotary Club, Be Renewed Church, and Mensa. Outside of my legal practice, I enjoy playing club rugby, sport shooting, Taekwondo, and traveling with my wonderful wife, Sanan, our five sons, and our two dogs.
