About Peter Jouras

Peter A. Jouras, Jr. is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area who grew up in Roeland Park, Kansas. He attended the University of Kansas, earning degrees in English and Business Administration. He later earned his Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. Licensed in both Missouri and Kansas, Peter has built a respected reputation as a dedicated advocate for clients throughout the Kansas City metro. He has secured outstanding results for his clients in cases involving auto accidents, workers' compensation, wrongful death, slip-and-fall accidents, and more. In addition to his law practice, Peter has been active in the legal community for decades. He has taught in the paralegal studies department at Johnson County Community College and served as an instructor at Washburn Law School, where he teaches trial prep and hosts mock trials for students. He has been involved in several bar associations, including the Johnson County and Wyandotte County Bar Associations, where he held numerous leadership positions, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, where he helped train young trial attorneys through the Inn of Court program. Known for his compassion and commitment, Peter approaches each case with the goal of improving his clients’ lives. He has successfully litigated hundreds of cases, securing fair settlements and favorable jury verdicts for those he represents. Outside the office, he is a devoted husband and father of three, balancing a busy professional life with his greatest joy, time spent with his family.
