About Paula Rousselle

I have accumulated years of experience in civil trial practice, focusing on litigation and arbitrations. I earned my B.S. in 1976 and my J.D. in 1979, both from Stetson University. My primary practice area involves defending medical malpractice cases, where I represent both physicians and hospitals in litigation, arbitration, and Department of Health investigations. Additionally, I manage the defense of premises liability and product liability cases for major grocery store chains, as well as for physician practice locations and a hospital. My experience also extends to handling the defense of automobile, bad faith, PIP/UM, and general insurance litigation. I have participated in seminars and lectures targeting a diverse professional audience that includes physicians, chiropractors, nurses, insurance adjusters, hospital administrators, and risk managers. I am a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute. I am admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. I am “ÀV’ rated by Martindale-Hubbell and have been selected for inclusion in Leading Tampa Attorneys, specifically in the area of medical malpractice. I have also dedicated time to serve on the Board of Directors of Chair Scholars, a nonprofit organization focused on the education of children with severe disabilities who, for economic reasons, would not be able to continue their education. Furthermore, I have served on the Board of Directors for the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am Golf tournament, which raises funds for four chosen charities in the Tampa Bay area. I am an avid golfer and a member of Old Memorial Golf Club.
