Hello, my name is Nixon Daughtrey, and I'm the owner of the Daughtrey Law Firm. I founded this firm because I wanted to practice law differently, focusing on compassionate legal support for my clients. In 2011, my life was forever changed. In August, I lost my mother to cancer, and just a few months later, in December, my grandmother passed away from cancer and a broken heart. These back-to-back losses deeply impacted how I view life. At the time, I thought I was prepared, but I soon realized how difficult it was to manage personal loss and legal matters simultaneously. Although I had planned everything as best as I could, nothing could have prepared me emotionally for probating their estates. Every court appearance, every document—especially seeing their names—was painful, prolonging the process. After I worked through my grief, I returned to the oil business. However, I quickly realized that my priorities had shifted. I knew I wanted something more meaningful. As a result, I decided to pursue my passion for helping people and opened my own law firm. With this change in mind, my goal became building lasting relationships with clients, ensuring they feel comfortable seeking help without the fear of constant billing. We pride ourselves on offering compassionate legal support that goes beyond the transaction. Today, I work with professionals on real estate and business law matters. I help them plan for success and avoid challenges before they arise. In fact, a strong business plan is crucial when times get tough, and a weak or nonexistent plan is nearly impossible to execute.
