Nick De Castro, J.D. Senior Associate Attorney Nick De Castro is a Senior Associate Attorney at The Bagley Law Firm, where he focuses on criminal defense, civil litigation, and personal injury matters. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Nick earned a double Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Music from Birmingham-Southern College in 2017. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, a nationally ranked institution, in 2020. A grandson of Cuban political refugees, Nick was inspired to pursue a legal career to safeguard individual rights and defend against governmental overreach. Prior to joining The Bagley Law Firm, Nick served as a Deputy Public Defender in Colorado for two years. During that time, he represented clients in hundreds of cases ranging from misdemeanors to complex felony matters. Known for his strong negotiation skills, he consistently secures favorable outcomes for his clients but remains a formidable advocate in the courtroom when trial is necessary. Outside of his legal practice, Nick is an accomplished musician and classically trained opera singer. He enjoys performing and is an enthusiastic supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide.
