From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in the legal field and fight for justice. Although my early aspirations leaned toward the FBI, my path ultimately led me to open a law firm where I focus on helping landlords navigate tenant matters and supporting small business owners in reaching their goals. I was born in Ukraine, and my family sought asylum in the early 1990s, fleeing the KGB regime and settling in the United States. I grew up in a small town on the Puget Sound in Washington State. Later, I married the love of my life and moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC. My journey has been filled with challenges and adventures that have shaped me into a dedicated attorney committed to helping others improve their lives. I earned my law degree from Charleston School of Law while raising four teenage daughters and managing my property management business. During law school, I served as a Senator on the Student Bar Association and founded the JD Heavy Weights, a mock trial competition between faculty and students. I also served on the boards of the CSOL Federal Bar Association and Christian Legal Society and was an active member of Women in Law, Phi Delta Phi, and the Second Amendment Association. I have been working as a property manager for over two decades. Early in my career, I grew an investor portfolio from zero to 56 properties in just three years, handling purchases, renovations, management, and sales. In 2013, I launched Family Owned Property Management, where I managed a wide range of military and investor-owned properties in the Lowcountry. My experience includes overseeing more than 500 properties. After law school, I realized that my personal experiences as both a landlord and tenant have fueled my passion for serving others. Inspired by my mentors and the opportunities I have been given, I use my background in property management and law to provide meaningful assistance to my clients.
