Mr. Henningsen actively litigates in all areas of employment law including but not limited to matters involving discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and whistleblower claims. Mr. Henningsen graduated from Brookdale Community College in 2015 where he earned his Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies and received his Bachelor of Science Degree, magna cum laude, in Labor Studies and Employment Relations in 2017 from Rutgers University. Following his graduation from Rutgers University, Mr. Henningsen earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he interned for the Center for Social Justice, Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Henningsen served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Mega, P.J.Ch., in the Chancery Division, General Equity Part in Union County Superior Court of New Jersey for the 2020-2021 term where he was responsible for managing the general equity docket. In this capacity, Mr. Henningsen analyzed motions filed by attorneys and pro se litigants and drafted written orders and judicial opinions pursuant to the filings that were received. Additionally, Mr. Henningsen was responsible for drafting trial opinions following all bench trials before the Chancery Division, General Equity Part. After the completion of his judicial clerkship, Mr. Henningsen joined Mets, Schiro & McGovern, LLP, representing labor unions and employees before the Public Employment Relations Commission, the Office of Administrative Law, the Civil Service Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, as well as the state and federal courts of New Jersey.
