About Melissa Green

I focus my practice on guiding clients through the often intricate and bureaucratic Social Security Disability process. Coming from a family of blue-collar workers, I have a deep understanding of the physical and mental toll that years of demanding labor can take. I take pride in helping clients secure the benefits they need so they can continue to provide for themselves and their families with dignity and stability. I am originally from Maine and was the first in my family to attend college. My journey to becoming an attorney reflects my commitment to determination and service. Before earning my Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Drexel University—where I graduated fifth in my class—I worked as a high school teacher. My background in education continues to shape my thoughtful, client-focused approach. In addition to my work in Social Security Disability, I assist families navigating special education matters under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. I help ensure that students receive the accommodations and services they are entitled to under the law. Since 2019, I have been recognized as a Top Delaware Attorney by Delaware Today Magazine, which reflects both my legal skill and my connection to the community. Prior to joining Maven Law, I spent many years practicing alongside Gary Linarducci at Linarducci Law, LLC in New Castle, Delaware, where I dedicated my time to helping Delawareans successfully obtain Social Security Disability benefits.
