Mr. Sharp graduated with his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University of Law in San Antonio. During law school, he was awarded the prestigious Pro Bono Service Award. Before opening his own firm, Mr. Sharp was an associate attorney at David S. Sprecher & Associates and at Rene Gonzalez & Associates. He also served as a Law Clerk for Edward L. Piña & Associates. These professional experiences serve Mr. Sharp and his clients well. He gained invaluable courtroom experience. He developed strong working relationships with many judges and other legal professionals. He also increased his Spanish language proficiency in order to assist clients that do not speak English. With over 12 years of experience in the legal field, Mr. Sharp dedicates his entire practice to criminal law. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Texas. In addition to volunteering his legal skills to the local community in Houston, Mr. Sharp is a member of the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.
