I have forty years of experience. I am an AV-rated attorney and earned the Super Lawyer designation in 2021-2024. My AVVO rating is a perfect 10. I earned law degree at the University of Colorado and earned an LL.M. in agricultural law at the University of Arkansas. My career includes services as an Air Force JAG, Special Asst. U.S. Attorney, Local Prosecutor, Municipal Judge for Boulder, Member of the Board of the Colorado Municipal League, six years on the Board of The Colorado Lawyer (including one as chairperson), and one year teaching law at the University of Arkansas. In 2022, Gov. Polis appointed me to serve on the Colorado Combative Sports Commission. I am a proven TRIAL LAWYER. In 2012, I won a $4.2 million judgment (including punitive damages) for a client in a case involving breach of contract and interference with contract. I have conducted more than one hundred jury trials. I lived in the Colorado mountains for 21 years, and I am uniquely qualified to help in real estate disputes involving access issues, boundary disputes, adverse possession claims, and easements.
