๐ (713) 224-1747After growing up overseas (in India, Thailand and Germany) Mark Bennett moved to Houston to go to Rice University. On his graduation with honors from University of Houston Law Center in 1995, he opened up his own practice defending people accused of crimes. Since 1995 Mark has earned a reputation as a compassionate, tenacious, and brilliant advocate for his clients, and has been honored by both the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association for his work in Houston and statewide. Mark chooses to have a low-volume trial, appellate, and postconviction practice, allowing him plenty of time to help and focus on each client. Mark also spends time training other lawyers, while continuing to develop his own skills. To become a better lawyer, Mark has studied psychodrama, improvisation, hypnosis, and psychology, and has introduced many of his peers to useful aspects of these disciplines. He graduated from Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College and has obtained Board Certification in Criminal Law and Criminal Appeals.
