I am an attorney with a focus on Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income, boasting a career that spans over 32 years in Social Security Law. My professional journey includes 17 years at the Disability Determination Service and 13 years at the Social Security Hearings Office, with a transition to solo practice representing the disabled since January 2023. During my tenure at the Social Security Hearings Office, I gained exposure to Special Needs Trusts in relation to entitlements. My current practice includes drafting these trusts so that the disabled who receive Supplemental Security Income and Medi-Cal can protect their assets without compromising their disability entitlements. I earned a BS degree in Biological Psychology from UC Davis and a Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. My educational background, combined with my extensive experience at the Disability Determination Service, has provided me with a profound understanding of vocational analysis, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. This knowledge significantly enhances my ability to effectively manage cases and advocate for the disabled.
