About Kimberly Ridge

Nurse/Attorney Ridge began her career as a labor and delivery nurse at a local community hospital in Massachusetts where she worked for approximately 8 years. She cared for patients in all phases of pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum. Attorney Ridge went on to obtain her law degree from New England Law| Boston and began her legal career at a medical malpractice firm in Boston. At this firm she specialized in pursing claims involving mothers and babies whose injuries occurred during pregnancy, labor and delivery or after birth. Attorney Ridge worked as a risk manager at a tertiary medical center in Boston for several years. She is familiar with the inner workings of hospitals and the response to adverse medical events and errors. She has facilitated onsite surveys from government agencies (DPH, CMS) investigating adverse events at hospitals. She is experienced in investigating adverse events and reporting events that qualify as serious reportable events (SRE) to the Department of Public Health. Attorney Ridge returned to plaintiffs medical malpractice with a continued passion to help those harmed by medical errors and hopes to prevent similar errors from occurring in the future by effectuating change through medical malpractice claims.
