About Kevin Bowen

I am the founding attorney of KMB Legal, a litigation-driven personal injury law firm located in Indiana. With more than ten years of experience in the courtroom, I am recognized for my relentless advocacy for clients who have endured life-altering injuries due to others' negligence. I prepare each case as if it will proceed to trial, a method that has garnered not only the respect of my clients but also the attention of defense firms and insurance carriers throughout the state. My approach is hands-on and centered around the client. I assist injured individuals and their families at every step of the legal process, ensuring clarity, compassion, and constant communication. Whether through text, call, or face-to-face meetings, I make sure my clients are never left in the dark. I have a particular skill set in handling high-stakes cases that include catastrophic injuries, wrongful deaths, transportation accidents, and complex premises liability claims. My foundation in thorough case preparation and courtroom proficiency has led to numerous significant settlements and verdicts across Indiana. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington in 2009 and my Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis in 2013. I am licensed to practice in all Indiana state courts and the U.S. District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. I am also a certified civil mediator and have undergone advanced litigation training through the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association’s Trial Advocacy College. I have been acknowledged as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for over a decade and was named a Super Lawyer in 2025. I currently hold the position of Secretary of the Indiana State Bar Association’s General Practice Section and have previously served as President of the Boone County Bar Association in 2019 and 2020, as well as in leadership roles in the Solo & Small Firm Section of the ISBA.
