About Kent Collins

Kent Collins has extensive tax planning experience counseling high net worth clients and small to mid-sized businesses. Mr. Collins is also experienced in the area of aviation law, having worked as in-house General Counsel for Morris Air. He is currently counsel for SkyWest, Inc. Mr. Collins has taught classes at the Brigham Young University Law School on Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning, is a past Chair of the Tax Section of the Utah State Bar, and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. He is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Mr. Collins has been continuously recognized in Best Lawyers in America since 2006, and was named “Lawyer of the Year” in Corporate Law (2015) and (2018). He was also listed in the 2007-2019 editions of Mountain States Super Lawyers, and he has continually recognized as one of Utah’s Legal Elite by Utah Business magazine for his work in wills, trusts and estates.
