About Justin Brathwaite

I am a first-generation American, born to immigrant parents from Barbados. My childhood was spent in Brooklyn, New York, before relocating to Orlando, Florida. It was in Orlando where I developed a profound desire to serve my community, a passion that steered me towards higher education. I attended Florida A&M University, a distinguished Historically Black University, where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. My education there provided me with a solid foundation in financial management, which has been crucial in my career. I continued my studies at the Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, where I delved into courses like Contract Law, Wills Law, and Trust Law. These courses prepared me to efficiently manage Trusts and Wills. After law school, I passed the Uniform Bar Exam and began my practice in Trust law. Throughout my career, I have managed various types of Trust Agreements, including Private Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, and Business Trusts. My practice has also extended to assisting numerous medium and small-sized businesses, drafting Articles of Corporation, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other legal documents. In addition to my work with trusts and businesses, I have helped many clients navigate the complexities of divorce and child time-sharing arrangements.
