About Joshua Welborn

Joshua A. Welborn is a trial attorney whose practice includes domestic and family law, criminal defense, personal injury, bankruptcy and general civil litigation matters. Joshua has been representing individuals and families in Calvert County and throughout Southern Maryland for over six years. Joshua earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in history from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2005. In 2009 Joshua earned a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, where he was an active member of the Property Law Society and Family Law Society. Joshua also served in the Florida Coastal Consumer Law Clinic where he assisted low income individuals and families fight against creditors and abusive collection tactics. After law school Joshua served as a law clerk in the Calvert County Public Defender’s Office where he assisted with the the defense of individuals charged with various criminal acts. In 2010 Joshua joined the law office of Davis, Upton & Palumbo, LLC as an Associate. While with his former firm, Joshua handled a variety of cases, including domestic, criminal defense, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Chapter 13 bankruptcy, estate planning, real estate, protective orders, general civil litigation and estates. Joshua is a member of the Maryland Bar, Calvert County Bar Association, and the Bar of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
