Joseph Engerer received his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in political science from Grand Valley State University. He worked as a litigator in the insurance defense field representing several major carriers before joining the offices of Helmkamp, Ellis, and Abraham in 2017. This experience has given him valuable insight in handling cases against large and often powerful insurance companies. Joseph clerked for the Michigan Supreme Court and worked in the state legislature prior to becoming an attorney.
