About John Evers

John has tried numerous cases to verdict and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America for both Plaintiff’s Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation, and by The American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel as a top commercial litigation lawyer. He holds an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell. He frequently presents seminars on trial techniques and jury selection. He is a past president of the Vermont Association for Justice and served on its Board of Governors. From 1993 to 2006, he also was a member of the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice. John served as the Vermont Bar Association’s representative to the Vermont Legislature’s Medical Malpractice Study Committee, and is an adjunct faculty member at Vermont Law School where he teaches trial advocacy. John is also a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants. His practice includes using strategic case planning and focus groups extensively, both in his own cases and in assisting other lawyers in preparing their cases.
