I was born and raised in Sanford, Maine. Later, I attended Maine Maritime Academy (1983 Engineering), and worked at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Design Division (Code 260) on nuclear aircraft carriers. Next, I attended Vermont Law School where I graduated with honors. I have been practicing law in southern Maine since 1992 and am the founder and CEO of the Webb Law Firm. The Webb Law Firm is a litigation law firm, focusing on Criminal Defense, misdemeanor or felony, personal injury cases, in both state and federal courts. In the field of criminal law, OUI-DUI is a subspecialty of our lawyers in Maine, plus my associates and I have expertise in defending drug cases. With recreational marijuana now being legal in the Pine Tree State, weed and other drug possession cases are another major practice area. I am a member of the DUI/DWI Committee for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a Sustaining Member, Faculty Member, and former State Delegate to the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD). In 2009, I was awarded the Victor Pellegrino Award for “extraordinary strength and character in dealing with adversity.” I am a past President of the York County Bar Association, and have served as a member of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court Advisory Committee on the Rules of Criminal Procedure. I have been a featured speaker at several DUI-OUI defense seminars in multiple states. When asked, I have made radio appearances throughout New England discussing driving under the influence cases, constitutional law and pending legislative issues.
