Joel is a member of the American Association for Justice, Montana Trial Lawyers, National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, the Yellowstone Area Bar Association and Northeast Montana Bar Association. Joel practice law with Netzer Krautter Law Firm, P.C., together with his senior law partner, Donald Netzer, who handles a mix of estate and Medicaid planning, real estate and probate matters. Netzer Krautter Law Firm, P.C. has offices in Sidney and Billings, Montana. Joel is a former member of the Montana House of Representatives, serving from 2019-2020 and currently serves on the boards of non-profits, the Friends of the Montana Constitution and Friends of Montana PBS. Joel resides in Billings, Montana and grew up in Deer Lodge, Montana. In Joel's free time he likes to enjoy the outdoors with his golden retriever Rusty, travel, hike, hunt, golf and ski.
