Jill Lesley is a passionate advocate for individuals facing challenging legal battles, bringing a deep commitment to justice and fairness to her work at Cromer Babb Porter, LLC. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, and raised in the Atlanta metro area, Jill returned to her hometown to pursue a career dedicated to defending and advancing the rights of others. Jill earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Combining her academic background in human behavior with her drive for advocacy, she attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in May 2022. Jill also served as a Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Grace G. Knie of the Seventh Judicial Circuit, gaining invaluable insight into the judicial process and enhancing her litigation skills. Before joining Cromer Babb Porter, Jill practiced at Elizabeth Franklin-Best Law Firm, where she focused on federal criminal defense, post-conviction appeals, and habeas corpus. Her work included arguing cases before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. This experience deepened her understanding of navigating complex legal systems and reinforced her dedication to protecting individual rights. Now at Cromer Babb Porter, LLC, Jill draws on her diverse background to advocate for employees in workplace disputes. Whether standing up to discrimination, wrongful termination, or wage violations, Jill’s commitment to justice and fairness drives her work. She is dedicated to empowering individuals, ensuring their voices are heard, and fighting for the dignity and respect every employee deserves.
