Jill also served as a Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Grace G. Knie of the Seventh Judicial Circuit, gaining invaluable insight into the judicial process and enhancing her litigation skills. Before joining Cromer Babb Porter, Jill practiced at Elizabeth Franklin-Best Law Firm, where she focused on federal criminal defense, post-conviction appeals, and habeas corpus. Her work included arguing cases before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. This experience deepened her understanding of navigating complex legal systems and reinforced her dedication to protecting individual rights. Now at Cromer Babb Porter, LLC, Jill draws on her diverse background to advocate for employees in workplace disputes.
