📞 (208) 248-0800After an extensive international career that took me to over a dozen countries—initially as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer and later as a program manager for an international non-profit—I made a significant career shift in my forties by pursuing a Juris Doctor at the University of Idaho College of Law. Between my global service and legal studies, I delved into winemaking and viticulture in Walla Walla, where I eventually established and operated my own winery. This varied professional journey has been incredibly beneficial in my legal practice, offering practical insights that enhance my ability to effectively serve clients. My legal education provided me with opportunities to explore various practice areas through several distinguished roles: a judicial internship at a federal district court, work at a general practice firm, participation in an Entrepreneurship Clinic aiding business owners, and an externship in criminal defense with public defenders. These experiences helped me find my true passion in Elder Law and Estate Planning, fields that align closely with both my professional goals and personal experiences. My commitment to Elder Law and Estate Planning is deeply personal, stemming from witnessing the challenges my grandfather and mother faced with Alzheimer’s and dementia. I am dedicated to assisting both older clients and younger families in creating comprehensive estate plans that tackle the challenges of aging, ensuring their wishes are clearly documented and executable. As a pet owner, I also understand the importance of including provisions for beloved animals in estate plans, ensuring they are well cared for after their owner’s passing.
