As a litigator and trial attorney, my path in the legal profession began with a pivotal realization early in my career. While diligently tracking billable hours, I came to understand that a different approach to practicing law resonated more with my values and economic perspective: the contingency fee arrangement. This insight led me to focus on contingency-based work, particularly in personal injury law. Over time, my belief in this approach only grew stronger, and I knew I had found the right path for my skills and principles. This passion ultimately inspired me to establish LJU Law Firm, a practice dedicated to serving a wide range of clients with steadfast commitment. At The LJU, I focus on trial law and personal injury cases, including product liability, motor vehicle collisions, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, paralysis, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), amputation, back surgeries, and neck surgeries. I also handle civil rights cases, such as 1983 claims, excessive force, medical indifference, First Amendment rights, and retaliation. Each jury verdict, whether a win or a loss, represents a meaningful step in my mission to seek justice for my clients. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that every case, no matter its size, offers valuable lessons and unforgettable moments. Some of the most fulfilling experiences have come from achieving significant settlements for my clients. I make it a priority to listen closely and maintain open communication with them, ensuring they feel supported and understood during their legal journey.
