About Jafar Abuyounis

Jafar M. Abuyounis, is a senior associate attorney at Chane Socarras PLLC and Boca Injury Law. As an experienced litigator licensed in both Florida and California, Jafar’s practice consists of handling a wide variety of complex civil and business litigation matters, including those involving torts, employment law, real estate, insurance claims & coverage and various business and commercial disputes, as well as personal injury, accident & wrongful death cases . Jafar began his practice at a prominent Plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in Fresno, CA where he went head-to-head with large insurance companies, recovering large sums for his clients through settlements and gaining vital litigation and trial experience. Jafar has also successfully defended ride share companies in various claims and litigation, multi-national food and beverage companies in asbestos litigation and recovered significant sums in subrogation and indemnity claims. In addition to representing large corporations, Jafar has assisted small business owners with corporate formation, contract drafting and business disputes. Jafar earned his Juris Doctor from the Delaware Law School at Widener University and B.A. from Penn State University. Jafar is a member of the National Arab American Bar Association and he is fluent in Arabic. Jafar grew up in the Philadelphia metropolitan area before completing and graduating high school in Amman, Jordan where he gained a valuable international perspective. When not zealously advocating for his clients, Jafar enjoys traveling with his family, playing basketball, coaching youth sports and volunteering at legal clinics.
