About Jacob Delahoussaye

Jacob Delahoussaye hails from Lafayette, Louisiana, where he was born and raised. He completed his secondary education at Lafayette High School before embarking on his academic journey at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. There, he excelled and graduated with distinction, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with the highest honors, summa cum laude. His exceptional academic performance led him to receive the esteemed Outstanding Scholar Award. Driven by his passion for the legal field, Mr. Delahoussaye pursued advanced studies at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center. In 2022, he successfully earned his Juris Doctor degree and Diploma of Comparative Law. During his time at LSU, he showcased his skills as a member of the Admiralty Moot Court team, actively participating in the prestigious Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition on a national level. Additionally, Mr. Delahoussaye held positions on the Board of Advocates and served as a Peer Mentor for first-year students within the Student Bar Association. In 2022, Mr. Delahoussaye joined the esteemed law firm Anderson Blanda & Saltzman, and he was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in the same year. At his firm, he specializes in various areas of personal injury litigation, focusing on cases related to automobile accidents, trucking incidents, premises liability, maritime and offshore accidents, as well as product liability. Remaining connected to his alma mater, LSU Law, Mr. Delahoussaye actively contributes to their advocacy programs. He generously volunteers his time as a judge for internal advocacy competitions. In his leisure hours, he indulges in pursuits such as golfing, hunting, and fishing, relishing the outdoors.
