About German Herrera

German A. Gonzalez Herrera is an attorney whose practice includes immigration law, traffic violations, and family law. He is the founder and managing attorney of Gonzalez Herrera Law Firm, where he represents individuals and families in a variety of legal matters and provides legal guidance to help clients understand their rights and available options. Mr. Gonzalez Herrera earned law degrees in Spain and Colombia and completed a Master’s Degree in Fundamental Rights in Madrid. He later earned a postgraduate law degree (LL.M.) from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. After immigrating to the United States, he resumed his legal career and established a practice serving immigrant communities. His practice includes family-based immigration, VAWA and U visa petitions, asylum, removal defense, and cancellation of removal. He also represents clients in municipal law and family law matters. Mr. Gonzalez Herrera emphasizes clear communication regarding legal processes, potential outcomes, and procedural requirements. In addition to private practice, Mr. Gonzalez Herrera participates in community education and pro bono legal work. He has collaborated with organizations serving immigrant families, established a mentorship program through the Hispanic Bar Association of St. Louis, and serves as an Adjunct Professor and attorney advisor to LL.M. students at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. Mr. Gonzalez Herrera serves on the boards of the Hispanic Bar Association of St. Louis, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Kansas–Missouri Chapter, the Hispanic Leaders Group, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in St. Louis. His professional contributions have been recognized through various leadership and service awards.
