About Gabrielle White

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in business, with an emphasis in management, from Missouri State University in 1991. After working in Springfield after graduation for seven years, including Springfield Remanufacturing and my family's restaurant, I earned my Juris Doctorate degree from University of Tulsa in 2000. I moved back to Springfield after graduation and began private practice, first with the Courtney Law Firm and in 2001 as an associate with Lisa McKay. We formed our partnership, Mckay & White, L.L.C., in 2004 and our office is located in the Woodhurst Office Complex. My practice focuses on finding practical solutions for estate distribution, estate administration (both probate administration and Trust administration), estate tax minimization, charitable giving, disability planning (both for children with special needs and adults), continuity of lifestyle considerations and other challenges families can face in the area of estate planning and elder law. Additionally, I also work with small businesses in succession planning, buy-sell agreements, contract reviews, sales/ purchases of existing businesses and entity formation for Limited Liability Companies, Corporations and Not-for-profits. Transactional real estate work is the balance of my practice. This includes strategies for clients who own rental real estate, closing private cash sales of real estate, contracts for the sale of property, conveyance deeds, promissory notes, deeds of trust and beneficiary deeds. My husband Brian and I are both Springfield natives. We both enjoy the Ozarks outdoors in our canoe, on our bikes, in our garden and continually rehabilitating our 1929 home. We are the proud parents of Gracie, the best and smartest mutt in the world.
