I am a seasoned attorney with over 14 years of experience advocating for families and individuals throughout Kentucky. I founded Kennedy Law Office, PLLC, where I focus on family law matters, including complex divorce cases that involve significant financial and custody issues, domestic violence, and child welfare. My practice also includes representing parents and children in dependency, neglect, and abuse cases, and I have been appointed as Friend of the Court and Guardian ad Litem in family court proceedings. My career is characterized by a deep commitment to my clients and community. I have had the honor of serving as a Guardian ad Litem in various family courts, including Jefferson, Oldham, Henry, and Franklin Circuit Courts, where I advocate for the best interests of children and parents involved in contentious legal matters. Additionally, I have been a dedicated board member of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Kentucky since 2010, serving as Board President from 2019 to 2021. My legal experience is extensive, spanning District, Family Circuit, Circuit Courts, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
