๐ (303) 409-7500I went to law school to work as a public defender. As I saw it, poor folks needed great representation, and I dedicated most of my life to the Colorado Public Defender's Office. During my work, I litigated complicated cases where I achieved great results. After almost 18 years, I decided to leave and apply my honed skills as a litigator to private practice. Since going private in 2013, I continued defending many people accused of DUI to homicide. However, litigation skills apply to any hearing, conference, or trial. Thus, I expanded my practice and litigated in a whole host of areas; for example: I saved a little dog from being put down by the City of Boulder (impound case against the owner); I helped protect and remove a client from a long abusive relationship; I successfully litigated a contempt where a client's former spouse refused to allow my client visitation (the court ordered visitation immediately, imposed attorney's fees, and held the former spouse in contempt); I represented a client in a hearing with Department of Labor whom Arvada unjustly fired - my client received employment as a result; I have litigated in almost every arena from divorce and employment law to administrative hearings and jury trials. Further, being a tough and fierce litigator makes me a tough negotiator - the other side knows I will not hesitate to drop the gloves and go to trial or a hearing to protect my client. No one should ever feel alone when dealing with legal matters, and I can assure you will not feel alone with me on your side. I will treat you with kindness while protecting you and your family from any legal harm. On the personal side, I enjoy my spending time with my loving wife and her two kids. The kids think of me as their second dad and that no doubt is my greatest achievement.
