About Elizabeth Holder

I founded The Holder Law Group, LLP after eleven years of practicing privately in the personal injury field. My career began as an associate attorney at Phebus & Koester, LLP, which is now known as Koester & Bradley, LLP. Subsequently, I served as a contract attorney leading the personal injury litigation department at Steigmann Law, PC. A significant portion of my practice is devoted to cases involving car accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and trucking accidents. My primary goal is to assist my clients in obtaining the highest possible compensation for their injuries. I possess a deep understanding and considerable experience in managing cases related to whiplash and spinal injuries, particularly in the Thoracic and Lumbar spine areas. I also dedicate a substantial part of my practice to Medical Malpractice, with a keen interest in Obstetrics and gynecological issues. My first recovery exceeding one million dollars was due to a physician’s failure to diagnose gynecological cancer. Beyond litigation, I am skilled in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration. These approaches often provide effective solutions for resolving personal injury disputes without the costs or stress associated with a trial. Throughout my legal career, I have worked in both large and small law firm environments. My experience spans complex class action litigation, medical malpractice cases, slip and fall incidents, and various other personal injury matters. I completed an internship at Davis Polk and Wardwell in New York City, a multi-national litigation firm, and represented Arthur Andersen LLP in parts of the Enron case. On a smaller scale, I was honored with a Barristers Fellowship from Vermont Law School to work at Have Justice- Will Travel, Inc. This small pro bono law firm aids victims of domestic violence in rural Vermont areas.
