About Eli Heller

Attorney Eli Heller has been practicing law in Ohio since 2013. His experience encompasses litigating complex cases in courts throughout Northeast Ohio, primarily in criminal defense, felony, juvenile and DUI defense. He is listed as a Premier DUI lawyer in Ohio by the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys. Attorney Heller is a passionate trial lawyer who loves helping his clients through some of the most difficult challenges in their lives. He prides himself on his ability to listen and understand the issues that are important to his clients. He provides them with the guidance needed to make well-informed, strategic decisions in their cases. Whether it involves negotiations or in-court litigation, he always advocated vigorously for every one of his clients. Attorney Heller is well versed in all aspects of litigation, negotiating settlements, drafting and arguing motions and conducting trials in various Municipal Courts, Courts of Common Pleas, and Probate Courts. He recently took more than 10 cases to Jury trial, with a majority resulting in favorable results for the clients. Additionally, he has successfully conducted numerous suppression hearings and bench trials. Prior to joining the Hoover Kacyon, LLC, Attorney Heller owned his own law practice and worked as a Legal Defender for Summit County. Over that time period, he not only refined his skills by handling a large number of cases, but also established a strong rapport with judges, lawyers, prosecutors and court staffs within the Portage and Summit Counties legal systems. Currently, he is a member in good standing of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Portage County Bar Association.
