About Ecleynne Mercy

Ecleynne Mercy is a proud graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a graduate of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School with a concentration in Litigation. Ecleynne started her legal career as an indigent defense attorney in Clayton County. Later, as an associate with the Cochran Firm, Ecleynne was devoted in representing clients in their pursuit of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Ecleynne Mercy and her colleagues went to Ferguson, Missouri to act as legal observers for the ongoing protests involving the death of Michael Brown. The National Conference of Black Lawyers requested these lawyers go to Ferguson to work with the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) to observe and ensure protestors’ constitutional rights are not being infringed on by the militarized police forces and National Guard. Mercy Law P.C. is a law firm dedicated to serving the people of Georgia. It is her goal to provide the highest caliber of legal representation to her clients. She does this by listening to her clients' needs, properly educating clients on the law, and fighting zealously to uphold the rights of all her clients. Ecleynne now trains other attorneys and law students to become legal observers. She also conducts Know Your Rights Seminars all over Georgia to inform citizens of their constitutional rights when dealing with law enforcement.
